You announced your new album for 2010. Can you already tell us when you release it in Europe?
At first is gonna be released in Argentina, same as all my albums, but is very possible that we start working with a German distributor, for bring to the Europe fans , more easy ways to get my Cd's. Its so hard, really to get a good distribution, or labels that edit the Albums, that’s why the most direct access to get them, is directly trough my official websites. At least like that fan’s get the original Cd's.
Which persons significantly influenced you in your life?
Musically, BACH, YIANNI, PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN.
PERSONALLY : My mother.
When was the moment in your life when you decided to make music?
Since always, there’s no explanation, since i can remember, when I was a kid, a teenager, or now. I’m always doing music, otherwise I’ll die.
Can you tell us something about your new album...probably which guest musicians there will be?
The best thing is to visit our website for the line up and I can tell you that is gonna be a double Album, celebrating the band 10 anniversary. Which is very special for all of us. And is gonna be a special limited numbered edition. That's gonna be available only trough our sites.
Want you tell us a bit about your big dream…I mean...the opera?
Actually is something that i have for a long time in my head, that yet didn't had time to make it real, also is needed to make it real a big stage proposal and a huge production. Is a transformed vision over the Apocalypses that I’d like to take to the stage , and i though it was interesting as is a recurrent idea on human beings since we have use of intelligence. Writings and prophetic visions, and It’ll be nice to make it on stage. But as just said, there’s no room or time or financial support for make this real. Anyway I always though it was a nice idea.
What would be YOUR ideal line up for that dream?
All the musicians that are now with me, Jessia Lehto. Carlos Ferrari, Lucas Pereyra, Norberto Roman, Victor Rivarola. And for sure a lot of personalities that we all love from this music. And others not so known yet, that is always nice to discover new talents and is great to make them bright on this type of ideas.
With which artists would you like to work together and can you tell us something about the reason why?
Personally, I’d love and be an honour and a privilege, and very important for me to share, at least one song either as a guest musician for him ,or for one of my songs , to the great Greek musician Gianni. That is one of mi biggest influences as a musician, when i saw the live concert from Acropolis, i was amazed and shocked and his so talented. And I do admire him a lot, share something with him will be a glory for me.
You have such a lot of great ideas and always new ideas. How do you manage to balance your job, family and your career as a musician.
I constantly do music, there's no need for me to be o studio only for create and have ideas, I can be inside a car and thinking notes and melodies, without even notice that I’m creating things,I live and breath music, for me is something very natural.
What is your job in “real” life? The only thing I know is something about a music store.
I have my own label, BVM and as well i have a sort of music business in where I spend part of my time, when I’m not working at the Studio.
How can we imagine a typical “Beto-day”?
I get up at 9 am, had breakfast, and if everything is fine I start work on the Studio. B-side that, in some time during the day I’ll go at the music store to check on things. And at night I return to work at Studio and then spend time with my family. And At weekends I rest a little bit and spend more time with my beloved family.
Talking about your musical education...was it classical? I ask because you use a lot of classical elements in your music and how much time do you need to finish one of your complex songs?
Classical Music was always present on my life, my favorite composer is, Bach and then Mozart , I did study keyboards at the Florida music store. And that was what encourage me to explore other things. Classical Music is a big influence on my life, beyond Heavy metal. And composing depends on how I’m on that day, it can take me from 10 Min's, to one hours. Then again is up to my inspiration. I’m lucky enough to have ideas all the time.
