H2O sind selbst schon seit 1995 dabei und haben mit ihrem positiven Hardcore-Sound Heerscharen von Bands beeindruckt. Aber auch unsere New Yorker Helden haben natürlich ihre eigenen Einflüsse und Vorbilder.

Dazu gehören Tollheiten wie die Ramones, Dag Nasty, Madball, Rancid, Circle Jerks, Descendents, Cro-Mags, Bad Brains, The Clash, Government Issue, Verbal Assault, Gorilla Biscuits, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, 7 Seconds, Embrace, Social Distortion, Sick Of It All und Warzone.
Und genau diese Herrschaften covern H2O mit geschmeidigem Geschmack, Herzblut und Hingabe.

Das Ergebnis ist in jeder Hinsicht das Hardcore- / Punk-Hitalbum des Jahres! "Don't Forget Your Roots" erscheint am 4. November 2011.
