Interview: ALAN PARSONS - Alan Parsons

Our audience is fifty plus - they want to sit.

He worked with THE BEATLES, he engineered the Rock milestone "Dark Side Of The Moon" by PINK FLOYD, and at last he embarked on a picturebook career with THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, featuring long time companion Eric Woolfson, who resigned to cancer in 2009. It's one of the acts where you know nearly all the hits, but you don't know who's playing them. Literally everyone is familiar with standards like "Lucifer" or "Eye In The Sky". I had the opportunity to meet Alan Parsons himself before the sold-out gig in Vienna, his first live apperance with the "Project" in this town ever. And although it was about 30 minutes until stage time he took his time, sipped his wine and was relaxed and kind.
