There is much anger in the people of Bangladesh. I think that’s why we have some really good Metal bands.

Denkt man an Death Metal und seine Herkunft, so denkt man in der Regel nicht zuerst an Länder wie Bangladesh. Das muslimische Land zwischen Indien und Myanmar hat jedoch eine vitale Hartwurst-Szene vorzuweisen, die aber kaum Chancen hat, nach außen zu dringen. Das wollen wir hiermit ändern. Da wären zum Beispiel SEVERE DEMENTIA aus der Megacity Dhaka. Unser rasender Reporter Mike hat sich beim „Nepal Death Fest“ in Kathmandu Sänger Riasat Azmi geschnappt und ein wenig über die Szene in jenem Land erfahren, das etwa doppelt so groß ist wie Österreich, aber achtzehnmal so viele Einwohner hat.

When we think of Death Metal and where it comes from, the first thing that springs to mind is surely NOT Bangladesh. But the muslim country between India and Myanmar has a vital Metal scene, wich has merely no chance of getting out oft he country. We will try to change that now. Threre’s - for example - SEVERE DEMENTIA, a band from the Dhaka Megacity. Our roving reporter Mike met vocalist Riasat Azmi when he experienced the band at the recently held „Nepal Death Fest“ in Kathmandu, to talk about the Metal scene in a country wich is two times the size of Austria, but has almost 18 times as many people.
