There is a lot of controversy in most of the Metal bands. Otherwise it wouldn’t be Metal.

The Indian Metal scene is a rather interesting one, but it’s mainly dominated by underground bands, cause the metal life on the subcontinent, where culture is still shaped by an aeon-old caste system and religion, is not always easy. Sandesh Shenoy - organizer of the Bangalore „Trendslaughter Fest“ and owner of the small underground label „Cyclopean Eye Productions“ - told me a little bit about his career as a metalhead, the cultural peculiarities and the adversities of the Indian scene. For the curious among you we have also some snippets of Indian underground legends DYING EMBRACE, BLOOD DIVISION from Singapore and the Sri Lankan Noiseheads of GENOCIDE SHRINES (all Bands featured on Cyclopean Eye).
