IVORY GATES - neues Album "Behind The Wall" 25.11.22

Die brasilianische Band IVORY GATES, welche Progressive Metal mit klassischen Rockelementen spielt, wird ihr neues Studioalbum "Behind the Wall" auf CD über das deutsche Label Green Bronto Records veröffentlichen. Das Veröffentlichungsdatum ist für den 25. November 2022 geplant und wird als Digipak-CD mit 16-seitigem Booklet veröffentlicht, das 2 Bonustracks enthält. "Behind the Wall" wurde am 8. April 2022 auf allen digitalen Plattformen digital veröffentlicht.

IVORY GATES wurde im Jahr 2000 in Piracicaba/SP gegründet und hat heute in seiner Diskographie "Shapes of Memory", "Status Quo", "Devil's Dance". Die Hauptmerkmale, die IVORY GATES in der Musikszene definieren und auszeichnen, sind die hohen Dosen von 70er Jahren Einflüssen und 80er Jahre Progressive Rock, ergänzt mit dem guten alten Heavy Metal.

Immer auf der Suche nach Weiterentwicklung, gingen IVORY GATES diesmal zu Extremen und nutzten "Evolution", sowie die Angst vor dem Unbekannten und die Komfortzone als Konzepte für die musikalische Kreation von "Behind the Wall". Obwohl IVORY GATES die Wurzeln der Band beibehielten, versuchten sie, Elemente hinzuzufügen, die sie noch nie zuvor in ihren Kompositionen verwendet hatten, wie wir in einer 6/8-Ballade (Leaves of Winter) hören, das Gewicht von Thrash Metal in "Fall of Jericho" oder sogar mit brasilianischen und lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen, die im Instrumental "Duallity" verwendet werden.

Brazilian band IVORY GATES which play progressive metal with classic rock elements will release their new studio album titled "Behind the Wall" on CD through German label Green Bronto Records. Date of release is scheduled at 25th November 2022 and will be released as digipak CD with 16 pages booklet which containst 2 bonus tracks. Pre-order can be placed here. "Behind the Wall" was released digitally 8 April 2022 at all digital platforms.

Ivory Gates was created in Piracicaba/SP in 2000, having today in its discography "Shapes of Memory", "Status Quo", "Devil's Dance" and UnKnown Trais, all records extremely well received by the national and international press.

The main characteristics that define and distinguish Ivory Gates in the music scene are the high doses of 70's influences and 80's progressive rock, added to good old heavy metal. The compositions are direct and aggressive, but with extremely sophisticated arrangements. The current lineup of Ivory Gates consists of Felipe Travaglini on vocals, Matheus Armelin on guitar, Hugo Mazzotti on bass and Thiago Siqueira, drums.

Always looking to evolve, this time Ivory Gates went to extremes and used "evolution", as well the fear of the unknown and the comfort zone accommodation as concepts for the musical creation of Behind the Wall. So, despite keeping the band's roots, Ivory Gates sought to add elements that they had never used before in their compositions, as we hear in a 6/8 ballad (Leaves of Winter), the weight of thrash metal in "Fall of Jericho", or even flerting with Brazilian and Latin rhythms, used in the instrumental "Duallity".
